Chris Xeil is a life long resident of West Chester. After graduating from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she began working as a Deputy Auditor-Real Estate in the Butler County Auditor’s office.  During her time at the Auditor’s office, she developed an extensive background in public finance (Tax Increment Financing, abatements, exemptions, Joint Economic Development Districts, special assessments and real estate valuation). She also served as the Chief Clerk of the Butler County Board of Revision, working closely with the Butler County Commissioner’s Office and Butler County Treasurer’s Office. She gained a thorough understanding of the inner-workings of local, county and state government while balancing political and public demands.  In 2000, she began a Masters of Business program and received her MBA in 2002.
 
In 2003, she began working as an Economic Development Specialist (EDS) for the City of Hamilton.  During her time at the City she strengthened her partnerships and background in economic development initiatives and industry trends.  She has also served a representative for Team Ohio and has attended several site selection conferences representing our State, Region and County.  
 
Her major responsibilities as an EDS included managing the Federal Renewal Community tax credit program, implanting the Small Business Outreach Program and the City’s Business Retention Program.  She is also is a licensed real estate agent and acquired land for the City’s  substations, water towers, easements, right-a-way/interchange and other redevelopment projects.

She currently serves as Region 5 ( Butler, Clermont, Hamilton & Warren Counties) Chair of the Ohio Economic Development Association working hard to create jobs and investment for our region. She also serves as an ex-officio member of the Southwest Ohio Manufacturers Consortium, helping our local manufacturers retool to enter the advanced energy (wind & solar) supply chain.

Chris Xeil's parents Judge Rob and Bea Lyons instilled in her a commitment to serve the community. She has always been an active member of the community serving on several boards and committees.

Please bring your items to the Lyons Truck & Tent, each donor will recieve a chance to win a Bengals Prize Package that has been donated to Reach Out Lakota from Chris Xeil Lyons. Winner will be announced at halftime.
